I've called the PNW home for 28 years and while I don't have a traditional schooling background, I have always been drawn to creative outlets. I've jokingly referred to myself as a serial starter. Photography, writing, knitting, sewing, painting, yoga, mindfulness, the list goes on - you name it, I've started it and told myself, and everyone else, it was going to be my thing. I've come to love my desire to dabble in whatever current endeavor has my attention. Permitting myself to try new things has proven to be a valuable and fun approach to life.

My role at Foster's Creative came about serendipitously and has allowed me to engage and interact with my community in ways I've always dreamed. As a mom, and someone who found themselves as the new kid growing up, I've come to really appreciate the deep roots that can be planted within a city and community. I am happy to be watering my seeds here in Tacoma with my little family, grateful every day to get to work for and with my community in the capacities I do.
