Lakewood Eats: El Pulgarcito III
Authentic Taste. Familiar Comfort.
Look no further than El Pulgarcito III for authentic Salvadoran flavors over in Lakewood, our sister city home to a melting pot of cuisines worldwide! From soups and stews to fried yuca and pupusas, your mouth will water instantly as you are transported to Central America in this corner of South Tacoma Plaza!
For our third installment of Lakewood Eats, we had the honor of meeting Selena Ramos de Flores, manager of El Pulgarcito, who believes if you're not paying a visit to El Pulgarcito for traditional Salvadoran dishes, you are truly missing out. You won't just like them, you'll love them.
We’ve partnered with The City of Lakewood to amplify our sister city because it's such an integral extension of Tacoma and the culture we all share in the South Sound. We often focus so much on Tacoma, that we would be remiss if we did not shed light on the magic that exists so close nearby around our neighbors!
Lakewood Eats is a series we've dubbed to highlight some of the best-hidden gems around Lakewood. Stay tuned to see our next feature!
